From the early days of the apparitions, the children presented to the Virgin, religious articles for her to kiss. This was at our Lady`s request and when people became aware of it, numerous rosaries, crucifixes, medals and wedding rings were given to the young seers.

The objects were invariably given to them in such a way that the visionaries could not possibly know to whom each belonged, the articles having been either placed on a table set aside for this purpose when the seers were not present or being handed to them by persons other than the rightful owners.
